Bob Neidig

Bob is a 56 year old Maryland resident, born in Pennsylvania, and transplanted to The Washington DC area in 1954.  After an injury prone childhood, Bob made his way through the public school system of Prince Georges County and completed his undergraduate studies at Towson, and University of Maryland in 1976. While his focus was on college baseball and cars at that time, his interests quickly turned to construction after accepting a sales position at Glen-Gery Brick in 1978. 

With little construction knowledge or experience, he quickly rose to the top of the sales team with a determined and persistent attitude.  By the early 1980’s, he undertook his first construction project, a new home, and found a passion for both the design and technical aspects of the building business.  By 1987, his second new home project convinced him that there was a need in the marketplace for window and door specialists.  Starting out part time, he developed the shell of Quality Window & Door. Late in 1989 the company opened its doors full time in Beltsville, Maryland.

Growth and success quickly followed and by early 1991, the tough decision to leave the brick business was made.  Now with full attention to the new window business, he quickly grew quality Window & Door to be the second largest window and door supplier in the metro area.  Through Bob’s vision Quality’s success can be attributed to providing a unique non-proprietary approach to educational selling, design consultation, and back-end stewardship of the buying experience from his company.  Best described as a passionate pusher, He continues to provide the energy behind the successes enjoyed at Quality.  Bob  remains active on a full time basis leading Quality as the company enters its 21^st year.
